2026 Ketchikan Fishing Season Kickoff: The 4 C’s is Ready!
It’s that time of year for 2026 Ketchikan fishing! Pre-season maintenance is wrapping up on the 4 C’s, the electrical systems are dialed in, and the interior is getting its final scrubbing. I’m just waiting on a couple of small parts for the window tracks, and then we are officially splash-ready for the 2026 season.
2026 Season Outlook
As we look toward our first June charters, the outlook for Southeast Alaska is looking solid:
King Salmon: The ADF&G regulations are out. For non-residents, the annual limit is currently three kings (through June 30). This is a great opportunity for those early-season trips!
Lingcod Opening: Mark your calendars for May 16! We’re ready to go after those “dragons of the deep” as soon as the season opens.
Terminal Harvests: We are keeping a close eye on the Herring Cove area for those hatchery returns—a perfect way to stock the freezer.
