Ketchikan Fishing Charters
Salmon Fishing Charters in Ketchikan, Alaska
Welcome to Campbell’s Fishing Charters, a locally owned and operated fishing charter in Ketchikan, Alaska. I’m Captain Cable (Clyde Campbell), born and raised right here in Ketchikan, with five generations of my family having called this place home.
With over 45 years of fishing experience in Southeast Alaska, I fish these waters year-round because this is where I live—not just during the summer months. That means real local knowledge shaped by changing tides, weather, and fish movement every single day. Every trip is run aboard my fully licensed and insured charter boat, the 4C’s, built for safe, comfortable, and productive fishing.
Ketchikan is known as the Salmon Capital of the World, and for good reason. The abundance of fish, stunning scenery, and consistent action make it one of the best fishing destinations anywhere.
I offer both half-day and full-day fishing trips targeting Alaska salmon, lingcod, and bottom fish, with catch-and-release halibut depending on the season. Trips are customized to your group, whether you’re brand new to fishing or an experienced angler chasing quality fish.
Summer dates fill quickly during cruise ship season, so early reservations are recommended.
A Unique Alaska Fishing Adventure
Fishing is a big part of life for the Campbell family — it’s how we spend time together, relax, and fill our freezers with fresh seafood.
Join us for a Ketchikan fishing charter with real local fishermen who know these waters well and use proven techniques to locate and catch quality salmon, lingcod, and bottom fish. Depending on the season, catch-and-release halibut fishing may also be available.
We offer half-day and full-day Ketchikan fishing charters, specializing in trips for cruise ship visitors who want to experience the thrill of Alaska fishing while in port.
Our trips take you through some of Southeast Alaska’s most productive fishing waters, including Tongass Narrows, Clover Pass, Knudson Cove, Herring Cove, Survey Point, Behm Canal, Clarence Strait, Dixon Entrance, and Nicholas Passage — providing excellent opportunities for king salmon, silver salmon, halibut, lingcod, and more. Each adventure is designed for anglers of all experience levels, from first-timers to seasoned pros.
