Halibut Fishing
Halibut fishing is currently catch and release only due to regulations.
Sales Tax
An 8% Ketchikan sales tax will be added to all fishing charters.
Fish Processing
Custom fish processing is available through
Gateway Smokehouse.
At the end of your trip we will deliver your catch directly to the processor, where they can:
• Fillet and vacuum seal your fish
• Freeze it for travel
• Arrange shipping if needed
Processing and shipping services are paid directly to the processor. Guests may also choose to process their own fish.
